Through Your Will

A bequest through your will is a thoughtful way to both leave a legacy and support the Longbranch Foundation and our South Key community.

Bequests are simple to implement and easy to change.  You maintain the use, benefit, enjoyment and control of your assets for as long as you need them,  and for as long as you live.  You can include a bequest provision in your will or living trust that specifies an amount or percentage of cash from your estate that you wish for the Longbranch Foundation to receive.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. You provide a future gift to The Longbranch Foundation by including a bequest provision of cash in your will or revocable trust.

2. If you wish to name The Longbranch Foundation in your will or trust, please contact us for the specific legal language to be used.

3. The Longbranch Foundation receives the gift after your lifetime and applies it to the purpose(s) you specified.  Please let us know to what activities you would like the money directed by writing The Longbranch Foundation a letter or contact us.

4. Your donation is 100% deductible when your income taxes are filed.

The Longbranch Foundation cannot render tax or legal advice. Please consult with your professional financial advisor before making a charitable gift.

The Longbranch Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization associated with The Longbranch Improvement Club. Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
